Whoops, I usually try not to go so long between posts but I genuinely haven't been doing all too much, just killing time before uni starts. thirty-one shopping days left? oh dear god
Day after my last post, my baby sister turned thirteen and is clearly not so much of a baby any more. She got a new camera for my birthday* so I got a ring: It was Mom's, originally given to her when her sisters and mom sodded off to the US and left her alone in the Philippines. I had a pretty interesting morning at the hospital today:- Guided an elderly gentleman who could barely string together a few words in English and was very surprised that I was actually going to take him where he needed to go (literally "you go me?"); once he was at the right place he was thanking me so hard, handshake, kiss on the cheek. Totally failed at giving a shit about most of my lectures today: Film lecturer went over the joys of writing based on actors' improvisation and method acting (thanks but we're never going to get to do that for our assignments so what the hell), English I'm sure would have been helpful if I'd actually read the short stories but I hadn't and don't ( Read more... ) -
ah, Chuck is back
I got my grades back! A- in film history and in space, light, and text; B+ in theater history. I'm satisfied. My final film essay must have been good if it and the group assignment dragged my B+ first essay up to an A- for the final grade! And my performance and paperwork must have really let down my shining 50% A+ in space, light, and text, haha ( Read more... )
